Oh, please don't mind the "Lah Cendawi" handle. It's supposed to be "Mat Cendana", from the Cendana Blues: Addicted to Politics site. For the moment, I've lent my blog to the Prime Minister for the Raya period:-)

This is what I am asking too. I was an idealist once, but now I've "lowered my standards a bit" and am more willing to accept the realities and acknowledge the unique features of Malaysia (For your information, I'm a PAS supporter. Or rather, I'm "someone who listens closely to what Nik Aziz says"; which is different from "listening and following what "PAS leaders say").

Anyway, if Umno is to be the main party to lead Malaysia, then so be it. BUT it must be a GOOD Umno! And the current Umno is too corrupted and out of touch to be given this trust.

Yes, you're hearing this from a Malay and Muslim. So I guess non-Malays must think a lot worse of it.

So what's the problem here? From what I see and understand, there *are* good and capable people in Umno.

Tell me, are people like Dollah Badawi & Najib Tun Razak THE BEST that Umno and we have?!! Surely not! So why are they at the top there?!!

It appears that the Umno people who have the power (the division heads and delegates) to install GOOD PEOPLE can't be trusted or expected to do this - they had sold out/might sell out when candidates offer bribes.

Enough is enough! We must DO SOMETHING...

BTW I'd like to recommend the blog of SAKMONGKOL AK47. He's "an Umno guy", but he's one of the more intelligent and more in touch with what people like us think and feel. He was also a former ADUN in Pahang. He was a former Najib insider, but now he's turned against that idiot. Ariff (Sakmongkol) knows a lot of dirty stuff about Najib...
